Ss Neumann Goretti High School

Any student wishing to transfer to Neumann-Goretti High School for September must have their parent/guardian contact the Admissions Office to schedule an interview.  In order to receive an interview, the most up-to-date transcripts (grades, discipline, absentee records) MUST be sent to Neumann-Goretti OR brought to the interview on the scheduled day.  For more information, please call 215-465-8437 ext. 248.

Registration forms for the 2009-2010 school year will be accepted throughout the summer.  We ask that parents and students who have not yet registered for September act quickly, as classrooms are filling up and rosters need to be completed.  You must return your completed application along with the $200 registration fee to the Tuition Office either by mail or during school summer hours. 

As the budget process in Harrisburg approaches the June 30th deadline, it appears that there may be significant cuts in funding for the nonpublic textbooks and materials program and the student auxiliary services. Since public schools will receive an increase in their subsidy for 2009-2010, nonpublic schools are asking for equity with a proportional increase in their subsidy as well. Now posted on our website are the 2009 Summer Reading and Assignments.  They will be given out to students on the last day of classes.  If a student did not receive a worksheet necessary for their assignment, they may pick one up in the Academic Affairs Office during the summer. 

Congratulations to the Senior Class of Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School!  This class, which has earned over $7 million in College Scholarships, will graduate on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Liacouras Center at Temple University.  Their Baccalaureate Mass will take place Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Cathedral of Ss. Peter and Paul.  Best of luck to this wonderful class!!  They will be missed, but will always remain a part of the Neumann-Goretti Family!!!

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Baseball Team who are now both Catholic League Champions AND City Champions!!  The boys are now moving on in hopes of winning the State Title.  Stay tuned for more updates as their season continues on.
